We look forward to seeing many of you!
iVision Tech S.p.A., Innovative SME and “Made in Italy” manufacturing excellence company active in the design and production of acetate eyeglass and sunglasses frames, as well as combined eyewear, listed on the Euronext Growth Milan segment of Borsa Italiana S.p.A., will be present at Mido, the international eyewear fair in Milan with a stand completely dedicated to the historic Henry Jullien brand, acquired through the acquisition of the MAISON HENRY JULLIEN business unit communicated to the market on 22 September 2023 (see press release).
The brand from beyond the Alps, which stands out for its exclusive workmanship in laminated gold, will be present for the first time at the international eyewear fair from 3 to 5 February 2024 entirely directly and not as in the past together with the former group of which he was part.
An 80 m2 stand, with a 5 meter high reproduction of the Eiffel Tower, a true corner of France in Milan, will host the collections that made Henry Jullien’s lunettes famous throughout the world.
Born in 1921 in the Jura region, cradle of the French eyewear industry, Henry Jullien has been synonymous with exceptional materials and workmanship for over a century. Symbol of quality and perfection, in the laboratories of Lons le Saunier, France, each frame is designed, produced and assembled by hand by highly qualified master craftsmen. For its craftsmanship and French production, the company has obtained the EPV label “Entreprise du patrimoine vivant” (living heritage enterprise), and holds the technique Doublé Or Laminé, whereby the gold is inextricably linked to the base metal, unlike gilding, guaranteeing incomparable longevity. The frames follow a very rigorous production process that requires no less than 279 operations and 4 months of work.
Thanks to the acquisition by iVision Tech, the brand is experiencing an extraordinary moment of relaunch with new collections that combine innovation and tradition, competence and passion. Presence at Mido will be an opportunity to present the innovations that have already achieved great success on the reference market, including the brand new “Hybrid” collection which combines the experience of over 100 years of processing of Doublé Or (the only company in Europe to work with laminated gold) and the strong expertise of the parent company iVision Tech in the development of the highest quality acetate fronts, made in the Martignacco headquarters. The objective is to combine Made in Italy and Made in France in a single product, putting the Group’s skills into operation and this collection aims to represent the first of a long series of innovations in the name of artisan tradition and the highest quality.
